Blue feather stripe, shoulder bag with crossbody strap

Blue feather stripe, this crossbody bag is part of a collection inspired by Japanese resist stencilling and indigo dyeing. The design features a detail of a shoreline feather that has been printed with rice resist paste and indigo dyed. Just one print was taken from the feather and details from this piece have been digitally reproduced on canvas fabric.

A patchwork panel of plant-dyed panels also features, with madder, iris root, oak gall and willow.

This bag is perfect for carrying smaller daily essentials. Adjustable removable webbing cross-body strap.

The lining is linen that has been plant-dyed with iris root.
