Stitchwort flower, tiny patchwork + plant-dyed zipper bag

Stitchwort flower, this tiny zipper bag is part of a collection of one-offs, inspired by summer florals, Katagami stencilling, katazome print & indigo dyeing. This design features a combination of vintage Japanese stencils (some c19th family heirlooms) and indigo/rice resist prints. The original prints have been digitally reproduced on fabric and combined together.

The silk/linen mix lining has been plant-dyed with hopi sunflower.

This small zipper size doesn't fit credit cards. Suitable for carrying jewellery, coins, tiny treasures.
