Foyers grasses, slim kisslock cross-body bag
A linen kisslock shoulder bag featuring an image detail of silvery-hair grass beside Foyers waterfall. The linen has been over-dyed with acorns, rich in tannins to soften and age the fabric print. The patchwork panels feature plant-dyed linens including heather, hawthorn, oak acorn and nettle leaf. The selvedge edge of the linen has been left exposed in part as a design detail.
Removable and adjustable leather cross-body strap with buckle.
+ convenient size, measuring 11cm top width and 18cm height
+ original printed linen front panel
+ denim canvas back + base
+ plant-dyed linen lining (hawthorn leaf)
+ handmade by Rowena Dugdale
* A word about linen print and natural dyes. Unlike the richly dyed silks and velvets in my other collections, the palettes of these are more muted and the colours of the natural dyes will soften over time. Digital print on linen is less saturated and the print will wear as fibres loosen. These qualities should be viewed as characteristics rather than flaws.
